status quo
Things are pretty much status quo around here. I am going to work, and resting in the afternoons. I can't keep up with emails/writing my notes in the evenings--which is not the greatest, but manageable. I was a little late recently because of stomach pain and upset. I am still having trouble with some skin-related issues and soreness with my mouth, but am otherwise mostly hanging in there.
My last infusion was made more pleasant with Sophia by my side. Nothing too interesting to report from the appointment. The only major change is that I am now on a blood pressure med.
Today, I watched Chris medal in his age group at a 5K (2nd in his age group! 7th overall!). It was a lovely race for an organization that raises money for young women with breast cancer. One event organizer highlighted how this group funded her fertility preservation and expressed gratitude for her two young daughters. I am glad organizations like these exist.
Next week, I have a follow-up ultrasound from my gyn appointment (nothing exciting, just trying to explain some symptoms), and blood work for the infusion the following week 10/29. I believe Jamie is coming for that superfuntime!
